What Can You Create with Subify?
Subify is designed for businesses across various sectors that want to drive consistent revenue, allowing you to tailor how you sell your products or services to meet your unique business needs. You might fall into one of the following categories:
Subscribe and Save
You can offer your customers the convenience of subscribing to their favorite products while giving them a discount for doing so. This model not only locks in recurring revenue but also encourages higher customer retention.
Example: If you're selling coffee, you can set up a plan where customers can subscribe to a monthly delivery of fresh coffee beans, ground coffee, or specialty blends.
Subscription Box
A subscription box is more than just a recurring order—it's a curated experience where customers receive themed or personalized items.
Example: Imagine running an art subscription box. With Subify, you can easily set up a plan where customers receive a curated selection of art supplies or prints every month.
Membership Programs
With a membership model, you're not just selling products—you’re offering access to premium content, special perks, or exclusive discounts. This is perfect for businesses in industries like fitness, wellness, or education.
Example: Let’s say you’re running an online running club. Using Subify, you can set up a monthly membership where subscribers gain access to virtual training plans, live coaching sessions, and exclusive running challenges.
Installments and Rentals
Subify also offers flexible subscription models tailored for businesses that provide installment payments or rental services.
Example: If you're running a camera rental business, Subify lets customers rent high-end cameras on a monthly basis, with easy options to renew or cancel each term.
For high-ticket items like a sofa, you can offer installment payment plans, allowing customers to spread payments over time while enjoying their purchase right away.

Testing Your Subscription Contract
Before launching your subscription offerings, it's crucial to test the entire process to ensure a seamless experience for your customers. Placing a test subscription order allows you to verify that everything works as intended.
Using Shopify Payments Test Mode
If you're using Shopify Payments, you can simulate transactions without real charges.
Enable Test Mode
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.
Click "Manage" next to Shopify Payments.
Scroll down and check "Enable test mode".
Click "Save".
When you enable test mode, simply go to your store and purchase your subscription product using one of Shopify's test credit card numbers. After completing the purchase, check your Shopify Orders to ensure the test order appears, and you should see something like the following:
Once everything is verified, don’t forget to return to Settings > Payments and deactivate test mode by unchecking "Enable test mode" and clicking "Save".
Placing a Real Transaction
If you have a live store and can't put your payment settings into test mode, simply place a real order using your credit card. Remember to refund the payment to yourself immediately after. The rest of the process is the same as in the previous step—verify the order in your Shopify admin and check the subscription in your Subify merchant panel.
